My husband and I are planning a trip to see many national parks out west. We are new to rving except for a couple small trips near home last summer. We have a 31' Class C and are concerned about getting into some of the places on our route. We don't want to tow a car and also don't want to get onto any scary roads.
We are interested in talking with anyone who has taken a 31 footer into Zion and Bryce National parks. We are wondering if parking the rv at a campground and renting a car to get around is a better option.
We are also planning to go to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks as well as Yosemite. One campground offered to get a rental car and have it delivered to our site. Is this something that is standard?
Any advice on traveling the roads to these parks is greatly appreciated. We really want to look before we leap to see what we need to plan for. Thanks!
