I live full-time in oir 5th wheel. I also work full time, and enjoy watching TV. I need an extremely reliable wifi/internet that won't constantly go out or not work. Currently I have winegard and use a AT&T sim card. Help!

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hey! I also live full-time in an RV and had similar issues. Winegard with AT&T SIM wasn’t cutting it for remote work, so I switched to a Pepwave router with dual SIM (AT&T and Verizon). It works better, switching between networks.

Also, investing in an external antenna can boost your signal. From my own experience, more stability and less frustration, especially in rural areas.🙂

Consider upgrading to an external 4G/5G router with better range (e.g., Netgear Nighthawk M5). Also, install an external antenna to boost signal (e.g., Poynting XPOL). Alternatively, look into Starlink RV for fast, stable satellite internet on the go. :)

use a Wi-Fi Booster/Router . very helpful while using campground Wi-Fi

Internet access while traveling in an RV can definitely be challenging. Many people rely on mobile hotspots or cellular data because campground WiFi is often slow or unreliable. Some RV users even switch between different providers depending on signal strength while traveling. When the connection is slow, I usually pass the time with mobile games. Recently I tried Fr legends unlimited diamonds and it’s actually a fun drifting game with lots of car customization and tracks, which makes it great for offline play during long trips.
