LED Tail Lights, markers and Clearance Lights

I am considering replacing the factory lights on my 5'er with LED replacements. I understand they are more reliable, brighter and less subject to total failure than single filament incadescent bulbs.

Any comments, suggestions or recommendations gladly accepted.

Make sure you get DOT approved replacements. You need a certain brightness or better.

RE: LED Tail Lights, markers and Clearance Lights

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I've got a new trailer 6 mo old and already found one clearance light half full of water, it did work though. Another had a corroded socket and didn't work.
The trick is finding lights that will replace mine and look right. I want the sealed up watertight kind that I'll never have to mess with again.
Anybody have any advice or sources?

You might try a local emergency vehicle light store. There are also on the net. Whellin is one. Code red is another. Maybe browse emergency vehicle lighting
