We will be following Lewis and Clark starting May 16 in St. Louis and arriving at Fort Clatsop June 1. I'd love to hear from others who have or will be following the trail. I have been reading a lot and planning the trip. Stephen Ambrose 'Undaunted Courage' is wonderful for the history. I have two great guidebooks--Julie Fanshaw's 'Traveling the Lewis and Clark Trail' and the National Geographic 'Guide to the Lewis and Clark Trail' by Thomas Schmidt. If anyone has recommendations of a must-see site along the way, I'd like to hear about it.
