My father had class A and C motorhomes while I was growing up in the 70's.
I am now several years away from working.
Things have change looking for what is out there. Can I get some input
On what to stay away from I was set to buy a fifth wheel but now thinking
Class A or Class C and I may have to live in the unit.
I have the diesel truck already. Looking for input on the good units
I have read some bad things on some units thought I
Would check the forum for different views on the folks that use the products.
Which units preferred and reliable. I am very handy
And can fix about anything but did not want
To buy unit that has lots of failures or not built well.
Looking for all types to help my decision.
So I hope to hear from a lot of folks who have had many of different units
And good solid input

Thanks I have a Chevy 2005 diesel 4dr 4x4 dulley with in bed hitch. I can pull goose neck hookup and also have the fifth wheel.

I am in NC, GA, and a house in Florida. I would like to travel little before settling back down which will probably
Be in NC farming a little. So probably living on 30+ acres
Have a few animals so that is why I am shy another the fifth wheel. If it
Was just me and the bride traveling then the fifth
Wheel was my first choice Toy Hauler? I do have 7 grandchildren any thoughts

At 30-40 grand a good class A maybe out unless a older Bluebird would fit your life. Now for that amount of change and a little looking a good used 5th wheel is well within your budget. Just stay with proven name brands, do a lot of looking for floor plans and again a toyhauler 5ver would also work. The non-toyhauler would have better amenities for you and the miss's but then the toys are out.
