Can you tell me if every trailer or 5th wheel have a manual slide incase they stop working and if so is it easy to spot where it is and a handy tool to have incase I need it. Thanks for any help
I think most do but not a task that you would want to do regulary. Your owner manual will be the best for what you need and where it is locate and how.
It varies from unit to unit. On mine, you throw a lever to disconnect the motor and then use a wrench to move the slide in or out. Check with the owner manual or the manufacturer.
