well this is gonna be a long post ,, and i will start by saying ,,, "Don't go there" ,,, it is not worth the expense and trip ,, this is JMO on it ,, but it in no way is anywhere close to the what it is meant to be ,, i will continue on the reasons why ,, like i said it will be a long post ,, and i set this up as a starting point ,, to be continued :)
 
well nothing to be continued on this all was taken care of thru the Fins UP Club ,, and Jimmy Buffets personal blog ,, hell we even got a free full meal on him at any place he owns ,, and was also told that the one in PF will be re-examined ,, due to the lack of " the non happy people" I have to agree ,, it was not the party ,, non caring setting that Margarittaville is known for ,,, but i don't want a free meal ,, all i want is for this MV to prosper in the way others have ,, and due to the folks that are woking there it won't ,, JMO ,, u can't insert a beach atomsphere into the ones that do not understand it ,, and that goes for the employees also ,, the server trainer even told us that ,, they screened over 200 in the search for servers and hostest and about 20 of them made the grade ,, and this guy has 7 yrs in MV from Keywest ,, but i guess u can't put the beach life in someone that knows only a pay ck ,,, but jmo ,,, i would say more ,, but i won't . I luv the beach life and what it is about ,, and that is what MV wants also ,, but due to the area we live in ,, it will not happen it is a kinda (sorry) redneck thing ,, i have never seen a still produce tequila ,, and a gal in cowboy boots and shorts with a cowboy hat do a hoe down type thingy when the still pours into the blender ,, but i guess it is due to tha lack of understanding .
 
Well here an up date... Margaritaville is a restaurant and sometimes has a casino, the one in Biloxi does. The restaurant catered to the people in the area where it was built. If one is on the beach then they will have there waitress and server dress in the way of beach attire, and the atmosphere will be geared in that direction. The one in PF , to me is a good place to eat, but there is no beach scene there. This restaurant was built in the Blue Ridge Mountain area, so it will be different than say the one in MB, or Biloxi . A good business man will build his business around what is there, not what he hope other would want it to be.
 
well ,, i am not gonna argue that ,, but it was JMO ,, and Jimmy Buffet is a partying kind of guy ,, and i know all "his" business is centered around a theme ,, even the one he is opening in vegas ( a casino) is called the "card shark " it has the theme of a shark in a coastal shirt ,, and wearing a Elvis wig ,, now that is a beach theme to me ,, but i am done with this ,, i just wanted to state what "we" felt on the MV in PF ,, the service was bad ,, the drinks were water down ,, and hell even the Hemisphere Dancer (Jimmy's plane ) was all wrong ,, but i am done ,, i guess i was way off in what i expected in MV in PF ,, sorry for the waist of all of ur's time ,, and btw ,, we did get a free meal ,, thru the fins up club ,, but as i said i don't want a free meal ,, Fins up club is great and i am now done,, i guess some should try the beach life ,, and all it has to offer ,, the locals that understand the way of life and how it is meant to be ,, many locals in beach towns would "frown on anyone not local" but once they see u have the "life " they accept u as one of thier own ,, and i have to say i am that i have been accepted into the local life of Murells Inlet and Village surf shop
But agian this is no reflection on anyone here ,, it was JMO and thats it :)
 
well weather it salt water, fresh water, trees or sand, we all are entitle to our opinion and our enjoyments.:cool:

I have and always will speak/ type the truth, even if it hurts me or others. I never sugar coat anything. I just speak/type what I FEEL IS THE TRUTH. I know someone will want to change that , hey that OK they have there right to say what they please, and so do I.
