Medicare and on the road

Well I will be an old fart come a month or so. Medicare is in the future and I need some advice on which plan. Think I need the advantage plan through whichever provider, but what else do I need and what are your thoughts? I will pickup dental and the silver slippers plan also. Does the advantage plan include perscriptions or do I need that too?
What do you carry and why?

Well I am in the same boat Len, except it will be in 6 months. I have BCBS and I will used them as my seconary ins.The VA picks up one of my med's and I will get a breakl down of the big one and have them to fill that one also. Dental plan is with BCBS.

Of course I have Medicare and the supp' is Gerber. They pic up what Medicare doesn't. And I have a Drug plan that covers 100% of my medication.
