I own a 2022 Surveyor Legend 203RKLE it has a murphy bed. Has anyone got input on what they have done to either replace the (cheap) material for the bed or have replaced it altogether. Was wondering if I could just lay a memory foam over the top of the existing bed and that would be fine. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

We replaced our mfr mattress with a memory foam mattress and have never looked back. I also have a 12 inch memory foam mattress on a murphy bed that is awesome. I put a "headboard" on the frame for the mattress to rest on when stored and simply strapped the foot of the mattress down so it doesn't bend. Hope this helps.
