New Electric Jacks (?) for Avion truck camper

My husband and I purchased a 1969 Avion truck camper a couple of years ago and have almost completely restored it. Now, I would
like to replace the original manual crank jacks with new, electric
ones. I would need three. I need help!!! Can the old jacks be
replaced with new ones?

My husband died last summer and I am ready to travel and camp solo.
New electric jacks would greatly facilitate the operation of getting
the camper off and on my truck. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks!!!!

Hi lwwings welcome to the forum & rving, I don't know why you couldn't install electric jacks it'll require some additional wiring, but I can see it would make it much easier for you, if you can't do that for some reason, you can get an adapter to fit in a cordless drill the will speedup rasing and lowering the mech. jacks but most cordless drills don't have enough power to rase or lower the jacks loaded. Good luck and enjoy your camper. :)  :bleh: :approve:
PS here is a site you may want to look at also www.stablelift.com don't know if this would work but its worth looking at.
