newmar.. front mounted diesel

was told of a newmar 37' mountainaire for sale with a front mounted cummings diesel told its a 97 ..
anyone had any experience with these ???? are they loud in the compartment???
any advantages or disadvantages????

just looking to get a diesel... heard that pushers (rear mounted) the most common ...gas normally conventional front mounted..

I did not know they were making front puller diesels in 97. If I was buying I would get a pusher but JMO. With the noise of the diesel i would think it would be much louder than a gasser up front. Never drove or road in the diesel puller.

If that is a front diesel, the previous owner must have converted it from gas to diesel.
