Nice Park Near Sun Valley, AZ?

Anyone know of a nice park near Sun Valley, Arizona? We're headed out that way in June and having a tough time locating a nice park that's within a reasonable driving distance to the Painted desert and Petrified Forest. Any recommendations appreciated. Please include links if available.
