odometer/speedo cable

When i bought my RV it had a broken speedo cable and now it has had the mileage registered at her test then i have a year to replace before next test is due.Can anyone help with a supplier for the above for a -

1979 Dodge Tioga . . .

Steve, what test are you talking about? Have you tried calling your local junk yards or the Dodge Dealer? Have you ever looked into a GPS speedometer?

Hi Triple E,the test is equal to the UK "mot" ministery of transport test for mechanical and safety basically.Also i now live in Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands part of Spain so Junk yards are out and local mechanics reach for the toilet paper when i turn up in my "old lady".It took nearly 2 weeks to get spark plug leads imported and i travel back to the UK this week for a holiday when i will return with new Carb,gaskets,filters ect but struggling with accelarator cable.Now GPS i aint heard of but will check if compatible with the 79 Dodge.
