Packing wheel bearings

I put about 2000 to 3000 miles a year on our 28' Sunline TT ( 8000#, two axle, 12" hubs). How often should I be packing the wheel bearings? :question:

They claim 12 mos or 12,000 miles between packing the bearings . I have doing mine about every 18/24 mos regardless of mileage and have been doing ok.

The best is probably synthetic wheel bearing grease.
I would not use graphite unless it was included in the formula for the wheel bearing grease.
