Plugging into bad power

I plugged my motorhome into a bad power source. It fried the converter, relay and various electronics in the motorhome.
Has anyone that has done this, got there insurance to cover all or some of the repair?
State Farm full coverage policy refuses,
do pay anything:

Reason:::
"The electrical and/or electronic breakdown is excluded under the policy language in 9837B pg 32, exc 13

Policy Language: ANY PART OR EQUIPMENT OF A COVERED VEHICLE IF THAT PART OR EQUIPMENT:
a. FAILS OR IS DEFECTIVE; OR
b. IS DAMAGED AS A DIRECT RESULT OF:
(1) WEAR AND TEAR;
(2) FREEZING; OR
(3) MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, OR ELECTRONIC BREAKDOWN OR MALFUNCTION
OF THAT PART OR EQUIPMENT."

Sorry to hear. Others have done this, their next move was to get a power conditioner, surge protector or specific devices made to protect against campgrounds horrible electrical hookups.
Ultimately the blame falls on you and/or the campground, and most likely just you for plugging into an unknown electric source without checking it first or without having protection.
The RV manufacturer is in no way to blame. State Farm is horrible for paying out, again, your fault for having the worst insurer ever. Insurance usually does not cover acts of irresponsibility or cover the campgrounds bad electric, seems your RV was working fine, but you connected to a non-working electric.
Even a good campground electric can have issues given all the campers that are plugged into it.
Hard lesson to learn.
