re oil replacement in rear end

#1
Hi Rver's, i have a rear end pinion plate leak and have drained the oil to repair, and with out a manual i dont know what grade oil should go back, does anyone know if it could be 80/90 or 85/140 grade it is a 1987 Monaco 36ft single rear axle daul wheels, I asume it is a LSD as when all wheels are of the ground both turn the same way. many Thanks Kojak

RE: re oil replacement in rear end

I show to use the 85/140 ,, with a friction additive ,, u can get this at any parts store ,, it's called transX ,, it's a fristion modifier ,, and it's accepted by all manf. of LTD rear ends ... hope this helps ,, I would go with a synthetic ,, it does not say to use that ,, but i would :approve: ;)
