I was wondering if anyone has had experience with using remote controlled powered trailer movers for a triaxle trailer?
The two manufacturers of remote controlled trailer movers that I have found on the internet are in Germany and England, they are Reich Caravan Mover and Powrtouch Mover. They demonstrate these movers on single and twin axle trailers (four wheel drive units) and say these units are limited to 7500 lbs for gradients up to 1 in 4.
I was wondering if anyone has seen these products used in North America?
And if anyone has comments on the possibility of installing the 4 wheel drive system on the outer wheels of the triaxle plus the single axle unit on the inner tires of a triaxle trailer to improve the moving capacity? I want to be able to move a 15000 lbs, loaded, triaxle stacker trailer on flat surfaces
