Roof edge and windows rubber

Hello, my RV’s windows and roof edge rubber had peeled off ( it was in storage for nearly a year in the hot summer of Palm Desert CA ) and I didn’t maintained it for years.

is it better to just seal these areas with caulk or silicone? Or just replace the rubber!? Which one would be more durable and weather proof ?!
