We are retired and just starting into this next phase of our camping "career".

As a recent joinee here, I'd like to comment on our status. DW & myself have been retired for a few years and have camped forever and within the past 6 or so years turned to RVing. No more rocks to sleep on. We do not full time. Prior ro this year we had and elderly mother & aunt which we helped to a large degree. The longest we could afford to be gone was no more than 2 1/2 weeks. Now we are free to travel, but our time is now regulated by doctor appointments so 3 - 4 weeks is our new norm.
Short answer is: we do not full time.
