S.E. Michigan to S.W. Florida

I am planning a trip to Sarasota Fl. starting Dec 27. pulling a 5th wheel. Which way is the best. Stright down I-75 or Take I-75 into Kentuckey to 71 to I-65 south, I -10, I -75. I know the I-65 route is about 125 miles longer. I am not pressed for time, just looking for the best route?

I would go straight down I-75 i have done some hotshotting in the past and found that the most direct route is usally the best bet. I'm from Florida and my runs took me to mich., ill.,ect. With the exception of construction you should be fine.
