We are looking for owners (and former owners) of Safari Serenghetti coaches. We have been thinking of buying one, a 1992 with a 250 Cummings and 6-sp Allison with about 68K miles on it. Some sales folks have been saying the Safari coaches have too many mechanical problems and aren't engineered well, but others say they are good solid coaches and a good buy.
Can any of you experienced owners and mechanics give us your opinion as to whether this model needs more repairs than the average RV? Thanks.
