:question: Is it normal for the carpeting under a slide(when closed) to be smashed down? Even on a new unit?

the slide may need some adjusting even if there new. i've seen a 250,000 dollar motorhome where i work at have a 2 slides that needed major adjusting. one of which pulled the carpet up and one slide that wouldn't work except with some coaxing
