Slide out support

1996 Fleetwood Prowler 33' 5th wheel...living room slide out. I want to put a support jack under this slide out since it's out all the time, but I don't know if I should put the support under the rails, or put the support above the rails where it would actually support the slide out floor. I just want to take some of the pressure off of the slide out so it's not so "bouncy". My support consists of a 2x6 and a scissor jack. Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

I can't remember where but recently I read something about not putting supports under a slide because if the trailer moved or settled the slide may come off its rails which would be a major disaster if you didn't happen to have a forklift with you.

My recommendation would be to contact Fleetwood and get their recommendation as to putting supports under the slide, with something like this it's probably better safe than sorry.
