Sliding Fiver Hitch

I am presently towing my 26 ft fiver with a long bed, extended cab F-250. I am thinking of replacing the truck with a short bed crew cab unit. Anyone have experience (good or bad) towing with sliding hitches? Any brand recommendations?

Sliding Fiver Hitch

There are lots of Reese's out there. Some claim they are unsafe when connecting, but it really seems to be a mis-understanding in the proper hitch process. After further review, it seems they can all be improperly connected.
