Just bought a 2022 Forest River Salem equipped with a ZAMP plug. All it means is there is wire going into the RV.
I took mine apart by the control panel and found the wires. You'll find matching colors going to the battery and the ones from the plug only have the ground connected to the battery. On my the controller mounts on the same wall over the control panel.
