South African plans to RV USA

I am a South African planning to full time the USA from next year for a couple of years. As South Africans we need to jump through a couple of hoops o full fill this dream like Visas, Home address, Bank accounts, Medical insurance etc.

Is there any SA citizens out there from whom I can get some tips and advise?
It will be much appreciated
