I have known so many folks that retired in the south
NC mainly and stayed 2-3 years and left.
What is it about that part of the south? Pollution?
Sweet people with sweet tea that really aren't sweet?
They should do an exit interview because of the high turnover.
Is there a tracker for where folks go and then leave within
5 years?

Well for whatever its worth The wife and I live in Louisiana and we are attempting to purchase property in Mountain View Arkansas. The country side is beautiful, there plenty of God's wonders to see. You get bored go East WEst or south for a few days and like a magnet you will be drawn back to Mountain View. The people are friendly and laid back.
