Rec'd a message this a.m. from some joker about 2000 winnebago. Clicked to see what he wanted, come to find out it is GARBAGE, he has only posted once.
Pogueb is the name and it has to do with slideouts leaking fluid in the message.
Anyone else have this kind of problem on this forum :question:

Paul, as long as you put your email address in your profile, you will get this junk.

You aren't required to have it showing. Go to the Control Panel above and remove it.

There are plenty of spammers that get on here to 'mine' for email addresses. Plus, Google spiders will do the same.

No, it isn't something that has to do with "this forum." It's everywhere! :laugh:

I use a free e-mail address from myRVspace.com when I don't want anyone to get my real e-mail address. Then if any one starts sending junk/spam it will go there. I check that e-mail about once a week.

I very seldom give out any e-mail address, but sometimes you can't get into a site without giving a valid e-mail, so that's when they get my backup e-mail address.

myRVspace.com is part of Passport America and you may need to have a PA membership to get the free e-mail address.

I also received this in my inbox but he just seemed to be looking for the leak so I gave the best answer I could when I saw he was a new member here. :) Did not receive by e-mail.
