store/use switch

another stupid question=== My rv has a store/use switch just left of the steps on the inside of the rv. What position should it be in / when?

It depends on what you want the steps to do. One position the steps go in and out when you open and close the door. The other you open the door the steps go out, hit the switch and the steps stay out untill you through the switch again or till you start the motor.

If its like mine it could also be your switch to go from storing the RV to using the RV.

Store position when storing and use position when using. Just an opinion from someone who don't know. Posting type of rv might help. Mine has a store switch that disconnect the batteries when storing and a switch for the steps. The steps switch just has on and off.
