Storing possessions while on the road

Hi, I am new to RVing and will leave in April for a 15 month trip around the US. I am currently in an expensive area in NJ in a rental but will be giving up the apt. What have others done with their stuff that they aren't bringing on the road? Storage units, cheap apt.??? Thanks for the help.

Alot of people that can not part with their belongings when they hit the road usually rent storage units. If you have relatives or friends with space maybe they can store stuff for you.
What kind of RV do you have?
