i have a 2006 f650 with 8800 miles when driving check engine lamp came on, truck fail safe shifted, speedo and odometer will not operate and will not go over 30 mph. Local ford dealer says it's a allison problem and allison says it's a ford problem. Whats your take on this. Any help will be appreatiated. Please note that allison stated that ford left a critical wire out of wiring harness and stated they repaced wire, even though it operated fine for 8800 miles, and after said wire was replaced the truck still has same problem.
