suburban furnace wont kick off

I have a coachmen clipper pop up with a suburban furnace. when i set the temp on the thermostat, the furnace will kick on without trouble, but will keep warming well beyond the temp setting and wont shut off. i have to manually shut the furnace off using the thermostat. any ideas??? thank you

If it won't go off, the thermostat is more than likely the reason. The simple thermostats are nothing but a switch. Try disconecting one wire, from the thermostat, and see if it goes off. If so, I'd bet thermostat.

The thermostat is sticking. Clean the contacts and if that doesn't do it, replace it.
