If you like sunsets over water this is a must campground to stay in. All sites overlook Johnson Bay at the "Easternmost" RV Park in the U.S. Great little campground. The only drawback is the lack of sewer connections, but for 3 or 4 days you can make do. The restrooms/showers are clean and there is a dump station (free) and "honey bucket" service ($10) if needed. FDR's summer cottage is located just over the International Bridge on Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Canada. Also, whale watching is good at the East Quoddy Lighthouse on the Island. We saw 2 Finback Whales in the first 10 min of observing. Fun place to go if you are in Maine and want a quite fun and economical place to stay in Downeast Maine ($31/night).
