Synthetic oil for coach and generator

I am just getting ready to change the oil in my 1996 Bounder 36s with a Chevy 454, i am thinking about switching over to synthetic oil. I also thought about switching to synthetic in my Onan generator. Any thoughts, Pro's/Con's.

Under Class A/ Diesel pushers the is a listing for Syn oil & Paul is really informative in his responses.

Older Onan engines tend to leak oil if changed to synthetic oils, or so it has been reported numerous times.

Been running synthetic blend in my 94 454 and Kohler genset for 50k+ miles, with no problems, Oil seems to stay cleaner
