Thetford Aqua Magic Toilet

We have an '84 Winnie Chieftain. Just filled up the fresh water tank and was flushing the lines. I filled the toilet and flushed but the water wouldn't stop filling. I cycled the pedals several times, both together and individually, to see if it would stop. But I have to shut off the pump or else the water keeps filling into the bowl. How do I fix it? Kevin, do you have an owner's manual? If so, it will walk you through what is probably bad. It is probably the shut off valve connected to the foot pedal.
Sorry, not much help. If you don't have an owner's manual, try contacting Thetford and see if they can guide you or send you an om.

Thanks, guys. No owners manual....got 'em for the furnace, gennie, fridge etc. On my way to the website.
