TOWING WITH CHEVY ASTRO

Well, I am new to this RV thing. We are really interested in the Outback by lite-way 25rss or the 21s, Both have great floor plans and bunks for the kids(great!) but am really concerned about towing with my chevy astro with the 4.3L, I know I will put a transmission cooler on and the weight distro hitch and sway control but am I pushing it.

I would hate to launch it going to Tahoe! :evil:

Hi,John: Towing weights are grossly overstated by yhe manufacturers IMO. Furthermore,the weight of the 25rss is about 4300 without any accesories-a/c,micro,propane tanks,battery,etc. Way too much for the Astro. You would need something with at least a medium size V8,and it would be really working to get up to Tahoe.Better stick to a pop-up or maybe a hybrid,somrthing in the 5000GVWR if you want to keep the Astro.
