IVE JUST PURCHESED A 1999 THOR 5TH WHEEL RV THAT DRY WEIGHT IS 12,700 I WAS PULLING A 26 FT MUCH LIGHTER IM GOING TO TRY AND PULL THE 12.700 POUND BEAST WITH MY 1989 1 TON CHEVY DULLY IT ONLY HAS THE 350 ENGINE IN IT WILL THIS TRUCK DO THE JOB ARE SHOULD I BE THINKING A NOTHER TRUCK SOON ANY 1 KNOW WHAT THE PULLING WEIGHT FOR THIS TRUCK CAN HANDLE, ANY HINTS ? BAD IDEAL OR WORST . THANKS IM NEW TO THIS FORUM SO DONT BEAT ON ME TO MUCH

Should be ok if you can afford the gas. Are the engine and tranny in pretty good shape?

I am going to say that it sounds like a big load for a 350 engine. Back then, those engines were not the powerplant the newer 5.7 is. The truck has the suspension, so that should not be the issue. Sure, the truck will tow it, you will just have to try it and see if your happy with the performance.

One thing, most of us around here consider all caps yelling. Welcome to the forum, but please turn off the caps.
