Trailblazer v. Travel Trailer

Hi All:

We have a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer and we're looking to buy our first TT. I've been going over the numbers as to what I can safely tow with the TB, but I want to get this right. I'll be getting a brake controller and sway bars.

I'm looking at a 2013 Coachmen Clipper 189FBS.

Hitch Weight 354 lbs.
Base Weight 3,293 lbs.
GVWR 5,000 lbs.
Cargo Capacity 1,707 lbs.
Exterior Length 19' 4"

My TB weighs 5,750 with a GCWR of 10,000 lbs. Can someone give me some help as to whether this would be a good fit?

Remember you have to include everthing loaded in the TB. Watching what you carry in the TB and rv you should be ok. Welcome ro the forum
