travel trailer frig problems

I have a Norcold frig with a botton to chose Auto-Off-LP. When set to LP only the pilot ignites and the frig works just fine. When set to auto and plugged to shore power, frig works just fine. But when I unplug the shore power under the auto setting the LP won't ignite. I don't even hear the "clicking" sound of the auto pilot try to ignite. Any suggestions what this could be? Am I looking at some kind of relay issue?

Reset all wiring plugins at the back of the refer. If this doesn't cure the problem a new control board maybe in order.
OR live with the manual mode.
