traveling from NC to AZ in winter
Where abouts in Arizona? If it is up north, then 40 goes there, just have to worry about snow/ice/cold due to the higher elevation. If down, south,then I10 is not out of your way, I've driven it from Florida to Arizona. Would seem to be ok most of the time, except I have run into snow in Texas (western part), not enough to impede progress but annoying.
