Ok electronic wizards tell me why my tv will not pick up stations in the search mode? Have to manually put them in and that's :dead: Have been through all the set ups and can't seem to find anything. Bet it's time for a 47 inch and install it on the dash:laugh: heck, I don't even watch tv so why do I care. Just like for everything to work:approve:

Nash, Do you have it set for antenna or cable correctly before you do the search?

Yes I have set it for antenna when on antenna and cable when on cable. The channels are clear but just will not set on auto tune.

Now Hollis I would have to deinstall the whole tv to plug it in :laugh:

o well just a dumb thought. anyway could it be the battery in the remote, or have you tried it manually

Hey Hollis, no such thing as a dumb thought :laugh: remember I'm the one that has done mechanic work all my life and didn't reconize that I had 6 volt batteries instead of 12 v
