URGENT I-10 (ROUGH ROAD)

I heard that 1-10 out of Houston going East toward New Orleans is REALLY ROUGH.

Does anyone have knowledge of this? If so, from what point does it start and end.

Appreciate all responses as soon as possible as we are heading that way on Thursday and will want to by-pass it somehow....any travel suggestions would be appreciated.

URGENT I-10 (ROUGH ROAD)

Sorry, Diesel Guy I missed your post. Here it is Thursday already. Thats about your only choice till about Baton Rouge, but it's gotten a lot better with all the construction. Which you will see on the way.
Seems like they have cones out every few miles. Enjoy New Orleans.
