In recent years the only gas chassis for motorhome are made by Ford and GM, with Workhorse havimg taken over from GM back in 2000. There are some good motorhomes to consider, like Allegro, Winnebago, National RV, Newmar and a few others. But no brand will guarantee the motorhome will be a good one, particularly for one that has been used. I strongly suggest that you consider joining the RV Consumer Group at www.rv.org. It will cost you a few bucks, but it could save you a lot of money. They do RV ratings and they will help you to learn how to evaluate a used RV before you buy.
