Where can I get Graphite?

HI--

I need to get some graphite to lubricate the retractable arms on my tow bar. I've tried some spray silicone and it didnt' work!

Any suggestions??

Small tubes of graphite powder can be purchased at hardware stores and WM. It is used to lubricate locks.

I use a "Teflon" type spray. PTFE I believe is what it is called. I don't remember the brand (there probably is more than one brand) on the can right now, but it works really good and there is no staining like graphite can do. I got it at Lowes or Home Depot.

If you have any tractor companies nearby, they handle graphite sprays. I buy mine at the local caterpillar dealer or case IH.
