We just got back from a great new place to camp in Mount Airy, NC!! It is Mayberry Campground, the people there are wonderful, hospitable and very helpful. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet, the views of the mountains and just everything about the campground. I will definately go again. 
While there we went to all the Andy Griffith places. Ate at Snappy Lunch, had a pork chop sandwich, delicious! Mount Airy has so many different places to go, we didn't get to see it all, will definately be going back and checking some more out.
