Have you checked the obvious, oil level, temperature. It could be the cabling to the ECM, the ribbon cables can come loose or not work correctly. Unplug and replug might work. You can press buttons on the ECM and get an error code if there is one. Go to the Allison site to find codes for your transmission. Also do a search on Allison, there is a long tread that might give some insight.

What does the transmission shift selector display say when this happens?
Does the check trans light come on when it happens?

when going down the road my truck has started to jump from drive to nutral it has a allision 6 speed automatic . can anyone give me some direction as to what to do

With the trans feeling it's going into neutral, and a check trans light on as soon as the trans is warm, I recommend you go to www.allisontransmission.com
Go to the service locator tab, and find an authorized Allison outlet close to you to look at the vehicle.
