Battery Charger

I just bought a floating charger for the winter to use on my 12 V battery. Is there any reason I can not/should not use it on the two 6 V house batteries hooked up in series/pararell??????? I thought one month on the 12V and then one month on the 2-6Volts, back and forth thru the winter. Suggestions?

None at all. The two 6V batteries when connected in series are electrically one 12V battery. With four 6V batteries, in two series pairs, connected in parallel you have electrically two 12V batteries in parallel. It will work just fine as long as it has enough output to keep the batteries charged.
