bed sizes in popups

I'm a complete newbie to camping in something other than a tent. We just bought a used 1998 Skamper pop up and take possession tomorrow. Questions are flying through my head, but I'm wondering if the king and queen beds it's reported to have are true king and queen. I'd like to buy some bedding, but do I really by king and queen sizes?

Welcome to the Forum. You will get great advise here. Just not from Me. LOL The Popups that I have had experience with have beds that are king and queen sizes (true to size) but the mattresses are thinner than a standard mattress. You can get Sheet straps to hold the sheets on better at most walmarts etc. Hey, have fun with the new pop up :)

Hey, thanks for the welcome and the quick response! I'll look for the mattress straps next time I'm out. Now, to hit some garage sales for the bedding! LOL
