WE ARE LOOKING AT PURCHASING A 2005 TIFFIN ALLEGRO BUS 40 FT OR A 2004 MONACO DIPLOMAT 40 FT. ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO IN REGARDS TO QUALITY, ETC. THEY ARE PRICED CLOSE.
Both are good coaches. I've had a Diplomat now have a Dynasty. Yes Monaco went out of business and reincarnated themselves with Navistar. Tiffin is still producing and gets great marks on their service.
Floorplan Floorplan Floorplan would be the deal sealer for me. Another thing to look at is the CCC of both coaches.
I would not be unhappy with either of those coaches sitting in my driveway.
Both are good MH's, Tiffin is still in business, gets an edge, but if the diplomat is less $$$ and more options it gets the nod. That's if both are in the same shape, amenities and power(the Diplomat may have the power edge).
