Camp Creek State Park (WV)

If you enjoy a relaxing back-to-nature destination, I recommend Camp Creek State Park in West Virginia. It's only 3-5 miles from the interstate, so no need to worry about pulling your RV over those WV mountains. It's small, as far as the camping area goes, with 10 or fewer spots for RVs. But by the same token, it's not a crowded park which gives you more space and freedom to enjoy.

It has a beautiful creek (hence the name) that flows through it. You can hike along the creek for about a mile to a lovely waterfall and fishing/wading area. It's a truly beautiful area.

If you're ever coming through WV on Interstate 77, consider stopping at Camp Creek!
